How do I wire a texecom veritas r8 alarm panel

I have all the accessories, I just dont know how to wire the tampers

As with all good alarm systems the tampers are a normally closed circuit only going open circuit when a siren cover or control panel is lifted thus opening the contact. If you like, tampers can be run off a single sector (preferably a 24 hr sector that is active even if the control panel is in the off mode) in the control panel and thus can be wired in line and if there is a "break" anywhere in that line it will cause the control panel to go into alarm. If the control panel comes with end of line resistors, ensure these are fitted to the furtherest point of the tamper circuit. Remember only use one resister per alarm panel sector. Use only good quality copper cabling as other types can deteriorate over time and build up resistance in the cabling.
