Melcom ST6100 siren no longer goes off !

I have power supply to my alarm control panel but my alarm siren no longer goes off and my door connectors no longer make a beep, when i enter the front door. The alarm system was working perfectly until we had a thunder and lightening storm, which made the alarm siren go in to operation during the storm . So would a lightening strike, on the alarm bell or house cause this problem?

Hi , a transient voltage can upset or destroy a piece of electronic equipment.I would suggest removing all power ( mains and battery) then powering up mains first , and see if the panel comes to life.If not , its probably fried.

Be careful around mains voltage.
