Can someone with compassion in their gentle heart send me the engineer manual for this panel ?

Ronnie, have you checked your programming, if the system is not connected to a central station (alarm receiving centre) then there should be no reason for this message to occur even in a fault condition... well that's my opinion anyway.. When the pir's detect movement, is the panel in test or engineer mode, they should shut down to save battery. Really need to see the literature for those devices and the panel manual.

Take Care,

Engels

I think it's something to do with the service period if you have the manual it's on chapter 3.57

RE: Abacus 6/14 alarm
A service reminder light is usually in the form of a tamper led flashing on and off, but you should still be able to override this in programming. My faithful companion Loz has just sent me the manual, I love him to bits, so I'll have a shufty (a look) and get back to you. O.K. I've had a 'shufty'. You say that you are using wireless detectors, is that correct. If so, they would require a suitable interface with the panel, so it is possible that the interface is causing the problem. I don't know what your present set up is, but it would appear that you might want to consider looking at the physical side of things, i.e. wiring, before considering programming, although I feel that you should have programmed the digi as not in. I need a bit more info about the setup before I can go barging in assuming this or guessing that.

Engels.

In the manual on chapter 3.57 it say's about service by the engineer.

Out of curiosity I would still like to see a diagram and the wireless pir interface, when you have the time.
