9448 will not re-arm after tamper fault
Hi Guys, I had a carpet fitted which caused a tamper fault, I cleared the tamper but now the alarm will not set. Once I enter the code it cycles through the leds untill the code is put again. How do I make the alarm set again ?

many thanks Mac

Sounds like a blown fuse. Are the sensors not lighting up?

Thanks for the reply,

The sensors are not lighting so I've changed two fuses I can see inside the panel, I didn't have a 1A so put in a 1.25A in would make a difference ?

Ideally you should swap it for the correct rating but it will do for now.

You've got a short somewhere, the fuse is blowing as soon as you replace it. Go back to the damaged cable and make sure no wires are touching each other. It's entirely possible there's more than one damaged bit
